Share Your Love

The labels that we give each other tend to isolate us from one another.  They divide us and give us reason to separate, rather than to bring us together.

Why not throw away the labels and relate to each other as brothers and sisters?  Why not relate to one another as people with hearts and minds who think and feel, just like you?

Meeting others as kindred spirits, each having something to offer to the other.  Seeing the light, the spirit, the divine in each other and nourishing that and sharing it with one another.  This is what will bring us peace in the world.

Allow me to share with you this reference from the Dalai Lama…

"At the end of the talk someone from the audience asked the Dalai Lama “Why didn’t you fight back against the Chinese?”
The Dalai Lama looked down, swung his feet just a bit, then looked back up at us and said with a gentle smile, “Well, war is obsolete, you know.”Then, after a few moments, his face grave, he said, “Of course the mind can rationalize fighting back… but the heart, the heart would never understand.  Then you would be divided in yourself, the heart and the mind, and the war would be inside you.'”

Share your love with all that you meet, especially those who try your patience, for they are your true test of character.

  3. Such wise words! One would think that something so simple would be easy, but, alas, it is not. That's why we need these gentle reminders to follow our hearts - truly the way of our future. I see that path and it looks amazingly bright to me.

Thanks for adding your light to lead the march forward!
